Purpose, meaning and a reason for living, we all desire and search for these in our lives.
Yet, our own efforts often leave us feeling as if something is missing…
The problem is sin. Every problem experienced by humanity is due to a refusal to live God’s way. The Bible tells us in Romans 3:23-25, “For everyone has sinned; we all fall short of God’s glorious standard.” Ultimately, for each and every person, the penalty for sin is spiritual death – which leads to eternal torment, punishment and separation from God.
However, there is good news! God sent his own son, Jesus Christ, to save us from our sin and give us eternal life! Yet, to receive this salvation we must believe in Jesus, receive him as our Lord and Savior, and repent of our sins.
The Bible says that “Anyone who belongs to Christ has become a new person. The old life is gone; a new life has begun!” (2 Corinthians 5:17, NLT)
In our community of faith, hope and love we support and encourage one another while knowing our sins are forgiven; we have meaning, purpose and reason for living; and we have peace with God through our relationship with Jesus Christ.
